G-S Movement History

The Official Organizers of GAY-SHA Movie Nights!

GAY-SHA, now G-S Movement, Inc. is not a religious organization, but an organization that understands that when people know they are accepted and respected in love, they can do greater and better things in life and make healthier life changing decisions and choices. Hence, GAY-SHA was born!

GAY-SHA stands for God Accepts You - Safe in His Arms and was formed in February of 2006 by Keith R. Blackmon.

GAY-SHA grew to G-S Movement and was Incorporated in 2008 by Keith R. Blackmon, Fred Dobard-Gary III, & the Late Roy Jones.

The group realized that they were creating a positive alternative to bars and clubs, they were creating a place of purpose.  The group was also providing a "safe space" to be heard, a place of respect and a place of social acceptance with a motto of "no stress, but stress love".
